Appalachian Grown™ is ASAP’s certification program for food and agricultural products grown or raised on farms in Western North Carolina and the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The Appalachian Grown logo identifies local food and farm products to help consumers make informed buying choices. The program is open to family farms in the Appalachian Grown region. Appalachian Grown farms are featured in ASAP's Local Food Guide, available in print and online. Appalachian Grown farms may list their farm for free in the online Local Food Guide. Additionally, Appalachian Grown farms are eligible to receive free one-on-one market planning support and bulk pricing on Appalachian Grown packaging and branding materials.
