Local Food Infrastructure Resources

The Local Food Infrastructure Working Group at NC Local Food Council has developed a guide to help producers find nearby processors, distributors, retailers, and other key players in NC's food supply chain. The guide includes an interactive map that allows users to find local food intermediaries in their region, as well as a resource library that lists a variety of NC organizations and programs that help develop stronger infrastructure for NC's food systems.

Local Food Marketing Resources

The Local Food Marketing working group at NC Local Food Council has lots of resources to help producers effectively and successfully market their products throughout the state. Their social media toolkit empowers producers to connect with consumers through social media, with information about how to identify your audience, build a base, and maintain an active platform. The Local Food Marketing page also has compiled promotional materials for a variety of NC products, including blueberries, collards, and shrimp.
