Description of Organization:
Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT) promotes the safe and humane production of meat, milk and eggs. We carry out this mission through science-based advocacy, consumer education, and support for humane farmers.

Animal Welfare Certification Grants

Capacity Building Grants for Certified Farms

Pasture Improvement Grants.

Typical past grant projects have focused on fencing, watering systems, or animal shelters in some way

Farmers have completed a variety of unique projects involving constructing cattle scratching stations, planting trees to improve access to shade and purchasing equipment for fly control. Please view a complete list of past projects for reference.

Grants will be made only to farmers for a project on a working, independent family farm

The grant application period is in October and November.
