VFNC Equipment Rentals

Equipment rentals are available for farmer veterans within a local radius of 100 miles from VFNC. To be eligible for equipment usage, you must provide verification of military service, a signed rental agreement, a $50 yearly payment, plus the equipment's usage fee.

Farm Military Agriculture Program

The Farm Military Agriculture Program (Farm MAP) is part of the Fort Bragg Career Skills Program. Active-duty military personnel within 180 days of their EAS/ETS are eligible to participate in Farm MAP depending on Unit and SFL/TAPS approval. Farm MAP is a four-month program designed to help participants prepare themselves for a career in agriculture. The program is broken into 2 two-month modules: Module 1 is based upon agricultural and production education at VFNC's training facility, while Module 2 is an apprenticeship opportunity.

Veterans Agricultural Training and Education Program

The Veterans Agricultural Training and Education Program (VATEP) is a six-month, comprehensive program covering the agricultural basics needed to start, run, market, and secure resources to grow your operation. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about each aspect of farming, from land acquisition to agricultural health & safety. The program is divided into lectures, labs, and 3x weekly on-farm field work.
