Walgreens Co. believes in ethical business practices and strives to improve the quality of life in the communities they serve. The health needs of patients are typically the main priority of the company and its funds. Not every request can be supported, and local non-profit organizations requesting auction items, merchandise or gift cards (not exceeding $20) should connect with their Walgreens district office directly.

Health is Walgreens’ main focus, and the largest share their budget is allocated to programs that address health needs.

Applicants that have a Walgreens in their community are invited to apply.

Requirements:

Walgreens charitable funds cannot be used to support:

  • Any group which is not qualified as a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Groups seeking educational or travel grants for contests, pageants, trips or conventions.

  • Advertising, promotional events or sponsorship of athletic teams.

  • Lobbying, partisan, or denominational programs.

  • Endowment/capital campaign

  • Sponsorships for individuals participating in cause-related events.

  • Sponsorships submitted by a third party on behalf of an organization.

 

Allow a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks for a response.
