Vidant Community Benefit Grants Program

Overview:

Vidant Health's Community Benefit Grants Program aims to positively impact the health of people who live in the communities of Eastern NC. The program focuses on early detection, wellness and prevention, community health initiatives and direct health care services. The Vidant Community Benefit Grants Program provides education, health management tools and easier access to local programs for the people who need them most.

Deadline:

In 2018, the application cycle was open from July 1 – June 30.

Funding Priorities:

Chronic disease prevention and management

Access to care, including mental and dental

Physical activity

Geographic Location:

Eastern NC in the counties which Vidant has facilities.

Primarily Chowan, Bertie, Edgecombe, the Outer Banks, Duplin, and Roanoke-Chowan.

Grant Size:

Typically range from $1,000 to $100,000. 

 

Requirements:

Must be a 501(c)(3) or government entity. Churches will be considered for funding on a case-by-case basis.

Vidant prefers that you have raised your own funding successfully before reaching out to them.
