Deadline:
NCCF will accept applications for this program once a year with a cycle that opens on July 10th and closes on August 20th.
Awards will be made in late October/early November.
Funding Priorities:
Proposals must have a clear and specific focus on education, healthcare/medicine or human services.
Within this eligibility criteria, there may be some preference for proposals serving:

Women, children/youth, or the elderly

Southeastern North Carolina (Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, New Hanover, Onslow, Pender, Robeson and Sampson counties)
Geographic Location:
Counties in Eastern NC will be eligible for funding.
Grant Size:
Grants typically will range from $25,000 to $50,000 and will not exceed $50,000.
Requirements:
Applicant organizations must be nonprofit organizations that have qualified 501(c)(3) status with the IRS.
Eligible organizations may offer programs/services to everyone and not discriminate on any basis.
Organizations that already receive grants from this fund may apply if they meet the above criteria. Organizations cannot receive more than $50,000 total in a given year.
