Overview:

Harris Teeter believes that by giving back in their communities, they can build incredible neighborhoods. They view getting involved in communities at the local store level and through corporate contributions as an important part of doing business.

Each year, their Corporate Contributions Committee reviews thousands of requests and directs donations to make a positive impact for community groups.

​

Deadline:

The Corporate Contributions Committee reviews requests for contributions in the order they are received. It can take up to six weeks to review a contribution request.

​

Funding Priorities:

• Local food banks

• Youth sports organizations

• Schools grades k-12

• Disaster relief efforts

• United Way

Must be within a reasonable distance to a Harris Teeter store location.

Requirements:

Harris Teeter will consider requests from all registered 501(c)(3) organizations.

​

The company cannot fund individuals, deficit reduction or operating reserves, trips, tours or student exchange programs, or fund drives conducted by religious or political organizations.

​

A valid VIC Card number is required to submit a request.
