Goodrich Corporation (recently acquired by UTC/UTC Aerospace Systems) is a Fortune 500 company with headquarters in Charlotte, NC. The Corporation is a global supplier of aerospace systems and technology. The Goodrich Foundation’s charitable giving is targeted in areas that support the Goodrich Corporation’s business initiatives, community and environmental benefits.
Deadline:
The Goodrich Foundation meets quarterly to review requests. It’s two application deadlines are March 1 and August 1 of each year.

Grant Size:
Award amounts vary. The Foundation will generally allocate its funds/resources according to the following percentages:
- Education: 30-40%

Civic and Community: 15-20%

Health and Human Services/United Way: 20-30%

Arts and Culture: 15-20%
Requirements:
The Goodrich Foundation will not provide funding for:

Multi-year grants;
-
Individuals, private foundations, booster clubs, endowments, churches or religious organizations, fraternal, social or labor organizations;

Groups with unusually high fundraising or administrative expenses;

Political parties, candidates or lobbying;
-
Travel,
-
Athletic or sports programs, raffle tickets, and other fundraising;

Groups that receive large funds from municipal, county state or federal dollars;

Individual United Way agencies;
-
Dues or gifts;
-
Fees for publication or merchandise;
-
Groups participating in illegal actions; and;
-
Groups that are deemed to have a conflict of interest.
