The Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation funds organizations based in/providing support to the 10 states within a 20-mile radius of where stores operate.

Spring: January through March 15th

Geographic Location:

Applicants must be located within a 20-mile radius of a Food Lion store. 

​

Grant Size:

In 2015, most grants ranged from $2,500 to $5,000. The most common grant amount was $3,000.

​

Requirements:

Organizations are only eligible to apply every 12 months. The Foundation no longer considers grant proposals submitted via mail, fax or email; applications are only accepted through the online portal.

​

Decision notifications will be sent in May and November each year.

​
