Enterprise Holdings Foundation

Overview:

Enterprise is the largest car rental company in the U.S. and is the parent company of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent-A-Car brands. The Foundation was established to give back to the communities in which the Enterprise brands operate. The Foundation provides charitable support to nonprofit initiatives that are actively supported by the company’s employees, their spouses/ same sex domestic partners, and loyal customers. The Foundation also provides more sizable special grants to nonprofit groups or causes of importance to the company and its employees.

 

Deadline:

Requests may be submitted during open cycle periods, which usually includes March, June, July, August, September, November and December.

 

Funding Priorities:

The Foundation supports relief projects or causes the company deems important as they arise, such as natural disasters, that affect Enterprise customers and employees.

The Enterprise Holdings Foundation typically allocates its charitable giving as follows:

Grant Size:

The average first-time grant is between $1,000 and $1,500. Average awards range from $2,500 to $5,000.

Requirements:

Foundation grants are awarded for a 12-month period during one of three meeting cycles (Fall, Winter, Spring). Organizations will be eligible for consideration again for same meeting cycle in the next year.
