Overview:
CSX works to establish and maintain relationships with communities across their network through several support methods. Non-profit organizations may apply for grant funding, sponsorships, CSX employee volunteers, and/or containers and rails to provide free transportation of goods. CSX occasionally donates materials, supplies and used railroad equipment based on availability.
Deadline:
Online applications are available to submit from January 1 through December 15th of each year. There are no deadlines for applications, but organizations may only submit annual requests once per year.

Geographic Location:
CSX provides support to organizations state wide.
Grant Size:
Grants usually range between $2,500 and $5,000. You are encouraged to base your request on the needs of your organization and include a breakdown of your budget by the components of the program and the impact of each.
Requirements:
Most responses will be provided within a month of the application submittal, but may take up to 90 days. ted.
