Overview:
The Clif Bar Family Foundation provides small grants for general organizational support and funding for specific projects. The Foundation also offers invitation only grants to specific, predetermined organizations.
Deadline:
Applications are due February 1, June 1, and October 1 of each year.

Priority is given to applicants who:
1. Address the following objectives:

Increase opportunities for outdoor activity

Reduce environmental health hazards

Build stronger communities
2. Operate with clearly defined objectives and achievable plans
3. Demonstrate strong community ties and operate at the community level
4. Promote positive change through both the proposed project and the process to implement it
Geographic Location:
Grants are available to organizations state wide.
Grant Size:
Grants average approximately $7,000 each.
Requirements:
The following areas are not eligible for funding:

For national organizations with local chapters, either the national organization or local chapter located nearby Clif Bar offices may be funded
