Cape Fear Memorial Foundation

Overview:

Cape Fear Memorial Foundation supports programs and organizations that promote health education, disease prevention, and provide direct medical and health services.  Their mission is to aid nonprofit organizations that provide services to improve the health and wellness of the people of southeastern North Carolina. 

 

Deadline:

Applications are accepted twice a year, deadlines typically fall around January 15 and July 15.

Re-Entry Programs
Education
Elementary and secondary education
Health and health care access
Higher education
Human services
Out-patient medical care
Shelter and residential care
Special population support
Sports
Youth development

Geographic Location:

Giving is limited to southeastern NC, generally within a 50-mile radius of Wilmington, NC, including Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, New Hanover, and Pender Counties.

Grant Size: 

From the most recent financials available in 2018, the Foundation supported 49 recipients (with a total of 112 grants) with an average amount of approximately $52,744.

Requirements:

Application forms are required.

No grants to individuals.
