Overview:

Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund supports a variety of philanthropies and organizations across the United States. Contributions are made to over 150 organizations a year that benefit education, the environment and youth development.

Funding Priorities:

Education:

• Public and private higher education institutions

• Adult education programs

• Youth development program

• Scholarship and fellowship programs

• Education-related organizations which expand public knowledge of the free enterprise system

 

Youth:

• Healthcare institutions

• Health-related organizations and programs

• Child development organizations and programs

• Community organizations which provide youth-oriented programs

 

Environment:

• Neighborhood parks

• State park systems

• Environmental and conservation-related groups

• Environmental and conservation-related initiatives

 

Other:

• Performing arts programs

• Cultural programs

• Public radio and television

• Civil rights and equal opportunity

• Museums

 

Geographic Location:

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. has locations across NC. Organizations that have a Bridgestone Americas, Inc. location in their community are invited to apply.

Grant Size:

Contributions typically average $16,000.

​

Requirements:

Organizations that discriminate in any way will not be considered for funding.
